Digital X-ray imaging for dogs and cats

Digital X-ray imaging is one of the most important diagnostic tools in veterinary medicine. It enables fast, gentle and highly informative examinations of bones, joints, the chest and abdominal cavity, as well as many other body structures.

Thanks to modern digital imaging technology, high-resolution images are available within seconds and can be evaluated immediately. This allows many diseases and injuries to be detected quickly and treated effectively.

We are also an officially approved radiography centre for hip dysplasia (HD) and elbow dysplasia (ED) screening as part of recognised breeding examinations.

Wide range of applications

X-ray examinations are used in many areas and provide valuable diagnostic information, including:

  • Bone fractures and musculoskeletal disorders
  • Joint diseases and osteoarthritis
  • Spinal disorders
  • Gastrointestinal diseases
  • Suspected foreign body ingestion
  • Heart and lung diseases (cardiology diagnostics)
  • Fluid accumulation in the chest or abdominal cavity
  • Emergency cases following accidents
  • Urinary stones
  • Tumours and cancer-related conditions
  • Preventive and follow-up examinations
  • HD and ED breeding examinations

Gentle, fast and reliable

The examination is generally low-stress for your pet and takes only a few minutes.

Thanks to digital technology, images are available immediately and can be assessed without delay. In most cases, no anaesthesia is required, keeping the procedure as comfortable as possible for your pet.

Dental X-rays – an important part of diagnosis

Many dental diseases cannot be seen from the outside. Dental X-rays allow us to detect changes in tooth roots and the jaw at an early stage and provide targeted treatment.
